At GHS2022 in Singapore, CAPRI joined Reform for Resilience’s co-chairs and hubs for their first in-person meeting, using the sidelines of the conference to align on strategy, research priorities, and convening.
CAPRI joined leaders from Philips, AstraZeneca, Gavi, and WHO Foundation to stress the need for economic prioritization of health infrastructure to the importance and contributions of the Asia Pacific in global supply chains and global resilience.
We participated in the Healthcare System Resilience Summit at World Expo 2020 in Dubai. The CAPRI leadership together with experts and leaders worldwide discussed learnings from the pandemic and key innovations for recovery and resilience of healthcare systems.
CAPRI partnered with organizations from Europe, Taiwan, and the US to host a webinar, wherein 14 experts examined the triple challenge of vaccine development, distribution, and acceptance worldwide. Marking the launch of CAPRI's “Vaccines and the ‘Triple Challenge’” report, the event highlighted innovative policy and private-sector solutions to strengthen health system resilience.
Developed for a broad global audience, this report focuses on vaccines as key to resilience in the Asia Pacific. In what is still a fast-moving environment, this report draws on interviews with regional experts and additional research in late 2021 to identify factors in the Asia Pacific that have affected vaccine equity and rollout during the pandemic and actions that will contribute to resilience in the future.
